Isaiah Nabea
Summer Intern
Aloha! I'm Isaiah, born and raised on the island of Oahu. I've really enjoyed serving in CEF these past few years with this upcoming year being my 5th! It' s a blessing to be a blessing to not only the youth but also the children of Hawaii as I help train teenagers to spread the gospel alongside me. I've just completed my sophomore year at Arizona Christian University and God is continuing to grow me daily as an RA and club leader. I enjoy outdoor sports like pickleball and soccer as well as having a good time around a good meal. I got to see lots of young lives impacted, students as well as children and I can't wait for what God is going to do this year!
Tori Leonard
Summer Intern
Hello! My name is Tori Leonard. I was given the opportunity to serve as an intern last Summer and I am excited to serve again this Summer. I grew up in a Christian household, where I attended church every week with my parents and brothers. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a young age and made my faith my own in my teenage years. I currently attend Liberty University and will graduate May 2024 with a degree in Family and Child Development, and I am excited to see where the Lord is leading me as I enter this new chapter of my life. Last year I saw a lot of growth in myself and in my faith and I am excited to see how God will use me this year.
Heze Laguaton
Summer Intern
I’m Hezekiah Laguatan, and am so excited to be blessed with this opportunity again! I absolutely love to read, which I credit to C.S Lewis and the Bible. I'm currently working at Panda Express and attending a Bible study which my friends and I do togehter. I accepted Christ at a young age thanks to the help of my grandma, but CEF has really helped grow and strengthen my faith. I’ve been to at least half a dozen 5-Day Clubs (no Keiki Bible Clubs) as a young child, and this will be my fifth year of working with CEF in their summer ministry. Last year (my first as an intern) was a great learning opportunity and I can’t wait to help out and level up even more this summer! This year will be greater than the last and I just can’t wait to see how good will show his providence and use me this year!
